GoGreen Hemp was established in 2016, making it one of the earlier brands to appear in the relatively young CBD market. It seems to have a good reputation in the wellness community, mostly due to its commitment to quality.

Hemp source and processing
GoGreen Hemp says it makes its products from hemp grown organically in Colorado. After harvest, plants are milled into a coarse powder, then sent to the extraction and manufacturing facility, which is also in Colorado.
GoGreen Hemp uses supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) extraction and a liquid chromatography process to remove all THC, wax, chlorophyll, and plant pigments from the hemp powder. CO2 extraction doesn’t leave behind any potentially harmful chemicals, but it can mean fewer aromatic terpenes in the final product.
The company uses an additional nanoemulsion technology for its softgels and nano tinctures. Nanoemulsion means that CBD molecules are broken down and made more water soluble. Research from 2019 suggests that nanoemulsion increases how much CBD your body is able to absorb.
GMP certification
The FDA requires all CBD companies to comply with its current good manufacturing practices (CGMPs). CGMPs ensure standards are met for manufacturing, processing, and packing. While a company can use a third party to verify that it’s meeting all CGMPs, GoGreen Hemp hasn’t taken this additional step.
Third-party testing
Every batch of GoGreen Hemp CBD products is tested by Botanacor, a third-party, ISO 17025-compliant lab. The raw CBD oil is tested for potency, heavy metals, pesticides, microbials, and solvents.
All final products are tested for potency and the cannabinoid profile. Some also appear to be tested for contaminants, but not all of them. That makes it difficult to verify their quality, as it may be possible for contaminants to be introduced during manufacturing.
You can take a look at the batch-specific certificates of analysis (COAs) online or by scanning the QR codes on the packaging. Since all products are tested bimonthly by batch, current information is always at your fingertips.
