There are different ways to process hemp and depending on how the hemp is processed, that product may be either an isolate, broad spectrum, or full spectrum. We have written on the differences between these types of products before, but you may not know what our favorite full spectrum products are in the office. Each of us took some time to pick out and review what we love and maybe don’t about our go-to full spectrum products!
Brandy’s Papa & Barkley Releaf Cream & Body Oil Review
Here at GWL, we try a LOT of CBD. We have our tried and true favorites and it can be rather difficult to convince us to learn to love something new. So, I’m as surprised as you are that I’m writing about a product line that we’ve only carried since May. It’s true, though, Papa & Barkley has become an instant staple in my skincare routine.
Did you know that CBD is great for your skin? The US Government does – they’ve had a patent on CBD as an antioxidant since 2003. I’m using the Releaf Repair Cream and the Releaf Body Oil daily. 
It’s a switch for me to use an oil on my body and lotion on my face after doing the opposite for years, but I’m loving it. We’re currently in that weird mid-season shift from fall into winter here in Michigan, and this new skincare routine is handling it with ease. I wasn’t overly oily in the summer but I’m not getting the facial tightness that dropping Mid Western temps bring, either. I’m also seeing a real improvement in my normally red, ruddy cheeks. The Releaf Body Oil is doing its job keeping my dry elbows and knees at bay as well, and it works wonders on sore feet at the end of the day. I really enjoy the tingle from the peppermint oil addition as well and neither product has a strong fragrance, which I really appreciate.
While these options aren’t going to help with mood stabilization or those aches and pains that you may be looking for from a whole plant option, they’ve absolutely helped me neutralize my skin and keep things calm and comfortable. Your skin matters, too! It’s the largest organ in your body, after all. Give it a try!
Cara’s Lazarus Naturals Full Spectrum Capsule Review
Lazarus is one of my favorite CBD companies. Why, you ask? I love the fact that Lazarus Naturals is committed to CBD accessibility for everyone. What, you mean anyone could afford CBD? Yes, that is their commitment. Affordable and accessible CBD! You can see that commitment in their CBD product pricing. At GWl we have some amazing products and companies that l believe in and love. However, Lazarus Naturals not only offers quality products but they are oftentimes at a fraction of the price. So when we decided to try their full spectrum capsules, I was the first one to snag a bottle. 
I am here to say they did not disappoint. At 50 mg a capsule in a 40 count bottle you can’t beat the price for a high strength capsule. That is 2000 mgs total for $69.99. I love the ease of one capsule a day for all my CBD needs. It assisted me with my shoulder and knee pain and for my aches and pains was comparable to some of our higher quality brands. My only complaint would be the capsule form. They are a bit big! I felt as if I was taking a horse pill, so if swallowing large capsules is an issue, this may not be a great option. For those looking to save a buck and dont mind a large capsule it is a great deal. I will say I do not believe them to be comparable to any raw CBD-A product so keep that in mind.
I had the pleasure of being able to review Bluebird’s full tincture line with their hemp extract sample pack. The pack includes their Classic, Complete, and Signature blends. The Classic tincture contains CO2 hemp extract emulsified in organic hemp seed oil. Complete and Signature, both come with some additional beneficial ingredients. The Complete blend contains both decarboxylated CBD and non-decarboxylated CBDa along with naturally occurring terpenes while signature CO2 hemp extract, frankincense extract, black cumin, and cold-pressed hemp seed oil.
In terms of effects, these all seemed to offer similar benefits, but the degrees to which those benefits were offered did vary for me. I am a cat owner. While I love my cat, she does give me allergic reactions on a pretty regular basis. Prior to starting this trial I had another bad flare up of allergies. Immediately upon starting to take the tinctures, the allergies subsided. All three of the tinctures kept my allergies at bay.
As a perfectionist, I tend to be someone who struggles with anxiety and self-inflicted stress in the office. When the work I perform isn’t flawless or the results I achieve aren’t what I expected, I will focus on shortcomings, which makes performing other tasks for the rest of the day difficult and increases my stress levels. All three tinctures helped to bring me a sense of calm and stabilize my mood. Had I not been taking these tinctures, last month would have been more anxiety inducing than the month prior.
I also wanted to test the tinctures for their ability to help with pain and inflammation. I purposely scheduled a few nights where I limited my sleep to induce headaches the next day. I had 3 different nights with self-induced headaches so that I could test them all. All three three tinctures reduced the headache to a degree. None of them completely eliminated the headache, but there definitely was some relief. Signature performed the best for me, reducing the headache to a level that was barely noticeable. Complete also did a really good job of minimizing the pain followed by Classic. I think my headaches could have been completely eliminated had I taken larger amounts of each tincture. It’s important to keep in mind that everyone is unique and CBD will affect every body differently. So, your experience with these tinctures could be different from mine.
I liked the 
flavor of Classic. It had more of that rosemary oil taste that hemp seed oil tastes like to me. Signature and Complete were both much stronger in taste. I’m not entirely sure how to describe it. It definitely had more of that earthy raw plant taste and I’m guessing that’s the extra terpenes and higher concentration of CBD in those. I would rank Classic as my first choice because it had a taste I enjoyed that I’d like taking on a daily basis. At the end of the day, finding something you’d enjoy using on a daily basis is the most important factor when deciding on a CBD product. The Signature blend would be second for me, because it seemed to be the strongest and that benefit does outweigh the flavor to a degree and then complete would be last on my list, because it wasn’t as strong as Signature for me and still had a taste that wasn’t exactly up my alley.
Hannah’s Endoca Raw Hemp Oil Tincture Review
If you have read anything I’ve written in the past, you won’t be surprised to read that I’m going to be reviewing the Endoca Raw tincture. The higher strength of the Endoca Raw products, the tincture and the capsules, have both been my go-to CBD products pretty much since I started working at Green Wellness Life. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia so I take CBD to help with pain, inflammation, bruising, nausea, my energy level, and general mood stabilization. It took me a couple of months to find the product that works best for me, but once I did I’ve never gone back. I take 10 drops of 
the Endoca Raw 1500mg tincture every morning immediately followed by a glass of water because of the strong taste.
What I like most about this product is that Endoca doesn’t heat its product to clean and filter it so all of the acidic tails are left intact. Those acidic tails, making CBD, CBDa, and other cannabinoids alike, can be really beneficial for nausea and inflammation. I can very clearly notice a difference in the relief I receive from a raw product compared to a traditional full spectrum product. With the same serving size between the two, personally, the raw seems to address my pain more effectively. I would and have recommended Endoca Raw to pretty much anyone who struggles with chronic pain, inflammation, and nausea like I do.
Quinton’s Method Organics CBD Beverage Drops Review
I’m not typically a large fan of additives to drinking water. It isn’t the taste that gets me. I don’t mind the occasional splash of lemon or lime, but such an addition feels unnecessary. When I was asked to test out Method Organics’ CBD Beverage Drops this month, I was a bit skeptical. My desire was to review it honestly while recognizing my bias against drink additives in my water.
As these drops are meant for adding to a drink, I wouldn’t be taking them any other way than within my tea or water. There was no way to get around it.
With tea, I was pleasantly surprised. There was very little hemp taste that could be off-putting, and the drops seemed to have diffused easily. Unlike when people use tinctures as a drink additive, there was no oily residue clinging to the sides of the cup. 
Next, I added it to my water. This, for me, was the true test of the drops. I almost exclusively drink water from a water bottle that I carry everywhere that I go. Like many other drink additives, the drops mixed into the water with no problem. There was a small hempy taste, but the overall flavor was refreshing. The only problem that I saw with the drops in my bottle was a small aftertaste that remained until I washed the bottle (not significant enough of an issue to dissuade me from future use).
Overall, I would recommend the Method Drops to anyone who wants an easy way to get a CBD boost in a cup of tea or in their water. We sell them in two sizes: 500mg and 1000mg of CBD, so you won’t find it difficult to get your daily CBD supplement from a serving.
Will I continue using them? Probably, but nothing beats plain water.
