Police discovered a cannabis factory in a property after responding to reports of a burglary.

Officers were called to a property on Talbot Road, Port Talbot, at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
After entering the property, officers came across the cannabis factory with more than 50 plants, as well as associated growing paraphernalia.

The force’s neighbourhood policing team in Port Talbot explained on Twitter that the occupants “ran away” as they arrived at the scene.

They tweeted: “The occupants of a property in Talbot Road, Port Talbot must have thought there were ghosts present yesterday evening, as they ran away leaving their house plants behind.
“Response Team 3 and Port Talbot neighbourhood policing team took possession of them for you if you want to collect.”
