CRANBURY, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Physicians’ Education Resource® LLC (PER®) is proud to announce its first Alternative Therapies in Pain Management: Evidence-Based Approaches continuing medical education (CME)-certified conference series on Nov. 7 and 14, followed by two meetings in the spring of 2021.

With a well-rounded calendar of world-class core meetings, this new, innovative program series will bridge the educational gaps of knowledge in this emerging and undiscovered space highlighting the future of medicine and patient care associated alternative therapies for pain management. The interactive virtual conferences will explore current and emerging evidence-based approaches of traditional and alternative therapies in the management of pain induced by migraine, osteoarthritis and surgery.

PER® Alternative Therapies in Pain Management: Evidence-Based Approaches conference dates and locations are as follows:

  • Tennessee: Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST. The program will be co-chaired by Jeff Gudin, M.D., and Jay Joshi, M.D., DABA, DABA-PM, FABA-PM. To register, click here.

Throughout these conferences, attendees will hear from world-renowned expert faculty members who will discuss the latest insights and clinical data and use patient case scenarios to illustrate the diagnosis and treatment of patients experiencing pain. The agenda will include hot topics such as the role of cannabis/medical marijuana in alternative pain management, genetic testing for opioid pain management, the evolving role of stem cell therapy for pain management, coordinated care between providers and institutions, barriers to prescribing abuse deterrents and more.
