Doritos are the BEST when you’re high. When you’re at a corner store, Doritos are a go to. These munchies flavors are always debated. Are you a Cool Ranch person? Nacho Cheese? Tapatio? Below, I’ve started the Munchie Debate: the best Doritos flavors, based on flavors that are currently available on their website. Get ready to agree or disagree on these spicy, savory and sweet chips.

14. Doritos Spicy White Cheddar

Okay, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE spicy chips. But these are not them. Unfortunately, the combo of white cheddar and spice are not whatsup.

13. White Cheddar

Honestly, I’m not even sure these could be considered Doritos. They may look healthy, but I’d leave these on the shelf. Also, they are kinda flavorless, which is something you wouldn’t expect from a Dorito.

12. Taco Flavored Tortilla Chips

The design, taste, and execution of these Doritos are really up for debate. I love tacos, but to eat the shell by itself? Put these down and enjoy some REAL tacos.

11. FLAMAS

These bad boys are SPICY. Also, get ready for some heavy lime flavoring. I wish I could make these higher on my list but they flavor gets lost in the heat.

10. Salsa Verde

How could you go wrong with Salsa Verde flavored ANYTHING? These Doritos are delicious and truly give you a hint of the best salsa around. Grab after a long session, these will CHANGE the game.

9. Poppin’ Jalapeno

So… these really aren’t spicy whatsoever. These chips are perfect for folks easing themselves into hot food. The fire is misleading but can be enjoyed by everyone that way!

8. Spicy Nacho

Spicy nacho is essentially the same as nacho cheese, but with a kick. Although, these remain in the lower half of the munchie debate: the best Doritos because there are way better spicy chip options.

7. Flamin’ Hot Nacho

These Doritos are cheese heavy with a bit of spice. If you’re looking for something spicer than Spicy Nacho, but have maintain the Doritos taste, this is the way to go. Pair with a cool beverage.

6. Tapatio

This was a collaboration we didn’t know we needed. These chips are 7/10 on the spicy scale. If you spot these in a corner store, grab them!!

5. Flamin’ Hot Límon

Flamin’ Hot Límon is underrated. The taste is similar to Flavas and Dinamita Chile Límon. PRO TIP: dip them in guacamole.

4. Dinamita Chile Límon

These are so high up on my munchie list because of their shape and size. The taste is similar to other spicy lime chips but hold their own. They go super well with a soda or beer.

3. Third Place Dorito: Cool Ranch

I know this might be controversial…but I’m not the biggest fan of Cool Ranch. By popular demand from my colleagues, I had to include it in my top three munchies. Why do people love Cool Ranch??

2. Runner Up Dorito: Sweet Spicy Chili

Sweet Spicy Chili go well with any mood or craving. These chips sweet, spicy, and savory, which checks all my boxes. If you haven’t tried these, DO IT.

1. Best Dorito: Nacho

I gotta go with a classic on this one, folks. Obviously, the classic nacho is my top munchie chip. Go spark and devour a bag.
