Marijuana, valued between $5K to $10K, stolen from Ridgetown business

Chatham-Kent police are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of marijuana from a Ridgetown business.

Police said officers responded to a break and enter at the business on Marsh Street early Sunday morning after a motion alarm was set off.

Entry was gained through a garage door to the warehouse, resulting in the theft of several dried marijuana branches with an approximate value of between $5,000 to $10,000, police said.

There are no suspects at this time, police said.

Break-in

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break-in at an apartment on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.

Police responded to the incident Saturday morning and report electronics and other household items were stolen.

There are no suspects at this time, police said.
