CANNABIS CULTURE – With the deepest of broken-hearted sadness, I am very sad to share the news that our beloved friend Greg “Marijuana Man” Williams passed away this Tuesday February 16th.
He was not alone.
He was held by his friends and loved ones Rose and Vicky in a private hospital room, knowing about the love and support that flooded in upon the announcement of his deteriorating health. He was truly grateful for the contributions everyone made to cover his final burdens, and the messages and memories from friends and fans far and wide.
Greg knew that I was planning to host his weekly Pot TV show “From Under The Influence” this Wednesday February 17th, and we let him know friends would be coming together to support him. He was going to watch and see everyone… He was truly comforted by the love and prayers being shared from around the world. He knew he was loved. That he is loved. And always will be.
Despite our overwhelming grief and sorrow, we will continue with the plan to hold his show in his honour. Friends and fans are encouraged to take part at 4:00pm PST Wednesday February 17th on Pot Tv and Cannabis Culture Magazine platforms. We will be hosting a remembrance and celebration of his life, and encourage everyone to join in with their beautiful memories about this magnificent and beloved gentleman.

Greg, I Love You. Thank you so much for every way you inspired and encouraged me, for over 17 years as a friend, and even longer as an icon and pioneer. I wouldn’t be here today without you. You were at my side through it all, and I hope you know how much you mean to me. I can’t believe that you’re gone… but I promise you will never be forgotten. We love you. We always will.
