Green Wellness Life Isolate Product Staff Favorite

At Green Wellness Life, we are whole plant advocates.  So if you come in looking for condition specific help, pain relief, inflammation reduction or many other needs we will more than likely direct you to our full spectrum products (includes the whole plant with all the cannabinoids from the hemp plant including trace amounts of .03%THC).  However, our staff also recognizes that broad spectrum and isolate products can be incredibly beneficial for some specific things as well as both are processed to remove the trace amounts  of THC.

Here are the differences:

See the best guide for how to grow weed fast the dankest pot on Earth for beginners or advanced tips and tricks for growing marijuana.
  • Isolate: the only cannabinoid left in the product is CBD.
  • Broad Spectrum: some of the cannabinoids in the product are removed, including the trace amounts of THC, while some of the other cannabinoids like CBG or CBN are left.

So with that being said, we want to talk about some of our Staff’s favorite isolate products and why we love them!

The dog you see in the picture to the right is my sweet rescue, Rizzo (Named after the baseball player for the cubs, thank you to my husband who is a fan!). We love our little buddy but he is a ball of anxious energy and it only gets worse when he is stressed. This happens with visitors, animals or humans walking by, loud noises including if we raise our voice for any reason, and even when there is anything stressful on the T.V. or radio.

That is where the Medterra CBD Calming Soft Chews come in! We have seen a significant reduction in anxiety and stress by giving Rizzo the Medterra soft chews daily. The soft chew is 10 mg, and we recommend 1-2mg per 10lbs of body weight for an animal, so we started by splitting it in half and giving it to him daily. After a week we found we needed to increase him to 1 chew daily. He is about 40 pounds. He loves the bacon flavor and the added ingredients of valerian root, chamomile and L-tryptophan also benefit him when dealing with his anxiety. I also give him half a chew before we have company or before he goes to the groomer. I really do love this product and so does Rizzo. We have really seen a marked improvement with his anxiety. I also love the price point $29.99 for 300 mg. You really cannot beat it!

I have been a long standing Endoca fan, some may even go so far to say cheerleader. I have found that 50mgs of either the Endoca Raw tincture or capsules has made a significant difference in my pain management routine. That doesn’t mean that Endoca checks all of my boxes for benefits from CBD. With all of the anxiety and stress that has accompanied everyday life, I have recently found that I like to add an isolate into my routine, along with my daily full spectrum. By adding an isolate along with my Endoca, I am noticing better relief for some of the anxiety that has come with life this last year.

Through trial and error, I have enjoyed taking an isolate gummy and the gummy verses the softgel or tincture has inspired me to take it daily. I found my perfect match in the MedTerra Immune Boost 25 mg CBD gummies. Having a compromised immune system, knowing there is vitamin C, elderberry, and zinc in my delicious berry flavored gummy, gives me great piece of mind and helps me feel a bit less crazy. With the current global health crisis, it is important to take care of yourself and protect yourself in as many ways as possible.

If an added immune boost isn’t your jam, there are also Keep Calm, Stay Alert, and Sleep gummies that I have also found to be helpful. I usually have both a bag of the Immune Boost and Stay Alert in my desk at the office because sometimes I’m just too tired to care about anything other than that energy boost. I’m also on a budget as a young person attending college so I was more than happy when I saw that my favorite gummies cost $39.99. Either way, these yummy gummies are an affordable and fun way to take your daily CBD.

As gyms start to reopen, a lot of us are dealing with soreness following a great workout (as we attempt to get rid of those quarantine pounds!). Even if you don’t hit the gym regularly, you may still feel sore; whether that soreness is the result of physical exertion or is a chronic issue, I might have something to help.

Each of us was asked to review one 0 THC product so I chose an isolate product I already enjoy. So what is an isolate? Simply put, it is a hemp-derived product that only contains the CBD of the hemp, and nothing else. This means that it is great for those looking to use CBD while wishing to avoid any trace amounts of THC that may be in a full-spectrum product or any of the other Cannabinoids.

I really enjoy the Social CBD Muscle Balm Stick. This muscle rub from Social CBD (hence why I mentioned the soreness)works very well for me. The soreness the day after the gym? Taken care of, with only a few rubs a day (and with a nice lavender scent, too). I definitely putting this topical on my shelf as a regular. There are no downsides to the muscle rub, either. Normally, I find at least one thing wrong with every product that I review. Not this one. The texture of the balm is good, not too sticky (when applied properly and rubbed in), the scent is pleasant and not overpowering, and the relief I receive from daily use is surprising, when considering it is not a full spectrum product. It is also 400 mg and can be purchased for a reasonable price $34.99. I highly recommend the Muscle Balm to anyone who is dealing with daily muscle pain and sports recovery.

I had the pleasure of being able to try and review the Method Organics CBD Beverage Drops. The drops contain isolate CBD with an emulsifier that allows them to be mixed into any beverage. This product fit my lifestyle perfectly, because I start every morning with a smoothie (orange juice, banana, pineapple, and spinach). I was able to add the drops to my smoothie every morning to start the day with a boost of CBD. I added a full dropper each morning which is about 33mg of CBD.

CBD is known for having a strong, earthy flavor. However, I found that adding the beverage drops to my smoothie really didn’t change the flavor of the smoothie. If you’re someone who doesn’t particularly like the taste of CBD oil, these drops may be a really good option for you. I got to really test the power of the drops last week. We had an issue with the website that was really stressing me out. I added the beverage drops to a glass of apple cider and drank the glass to see how well the drops would help me cope with the stress and anxiety I was experiencing. I found they did do a good job of providing the sense of calm I needed. I was able to clear my head and we did end up getting the website issue resolved.

The beverage drops have a rapid onset, so they get to work fast, and we do consider them a booster product. The effects will typically fade faster than a typical oil-based tincture would. The drops are really best for when you need a boost of CBD. Ultimately, I really enjoyed the beverage drops and I would definitely recommend them. If you have a beverage routine like me, you’ll be able to easily work these drops into your routine. They’re also great to have around when you want a fast boost of CBD.

I know we say it regularly, but here at GWL we really do try ALOT of CBD. Gummies, Inhalers, Lotions, Chocolate – even a bracelet once. You name it, we’ve tried it. Through all of these trials and adventures, Social CBD is a brand that I find myself coming back to time and time again. This is a review on isolate and broad spectrum based products and those are the only types of products that Social CBD line.  Clearing out those other ingredients seems to make an easier path for mood stabilization. That’s the benefit that I’m generally looking for from CBD. While I do have the general aches and pains that come with being a 42 year old human (How is it that I hurt my neck sleeping? Seriously – just sleeping causes injury these days?) I don’t live with chronic pain. Thank goodness for that. I do struggle with a balanced mood and energy level. Michigan winters don’t help the situation, so I find myself turning to the Social CBD Boost. It’s a 33.3mg strength softgel. Again, it’s an isolate – 0 THC. Social makes a Rest, Recover, and a Boost blend. Boost contains yerba mate and moringa in addition to that CBD. If you’re not familiar with those “bonus herbs,” yerba mate is a naturally caffeinated leaf from a holly tree native to the rainforest. It’s most often consumed as a tea. https://guayaki.com/why-yerba-mate/

The moringa tree is native to North India and is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals including Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Magnesium. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/6-benefits-of-moringa-oleifera#

The combination of these two is intended to provide some energy for the day along with those neutralizing benefits that we love from CBD.

But does it work? For me, it does. I take my CBD mid-morning. I don’t take anything on an empty stomach because I’ve got a notoriously weak digestive system, so I want to make sure I’ve had breakfast. I’m also done with my allotted 2 cups of coffee by then. Within about an hour, I do feel a burst of energy. It’s not always noticeable on a daily basis, but when I stop the Boost to try something new and different, I notice when I come back to it. My husband, who struggles with both mood and inflammation, takes this as well – he marries it with a Full Spectrum Softgel from Entourage. It’s a higher serving of daily CBD than some of us need, but it’s his best fit. Let us know how we can help you find your own best fit – we’re here to help!
